Algarve Golf Classic — Five Days on Portugal's Premier Fairways

A five-day premium golf program for 24 players, set entirely in the Algarve — consistently rated among Europe's top golf destinations. The program covers four of the region's most celebrated courses across distinct landscapes: clifftop links above the Atlantic, inland parkland through cork and pine, and championship layouts with mountain backdrops. Between rounds, guests experience the Algarve's finest coastal cuisine, its dramatic western coastline, and the historic towns of the interior. Every tee time, buggy, caddy, transfer, and dining reservation is managed end-to-end by InBound Portugal. Handicap certificates required for all participants.

Private reception at Faro Airport arrivals hall. Two InBound coordinators with branded signage. Welcome packs distributed: program booklet, course scorecards, local area guide, InBound emergency contacts, and a course yardage booklet for each round.

Private fleet of 2 executive minibuses (12 pax each) departs airport heading west along the coast to the Quinta do Lago / Vale do Lobo area. 25-minute drive. On-board: chilled water, fresh orange juice, and a printed overview of the week's four courses with difficulty ratings and signature holes.

Check-in at a 5-star golf resort in the Quinta do Lago corridor. Pre-assigned rooms with golf-view or garden-view preferences applied. Golf bag storage organised at resort pro shop. InBound coordinator confirms tee times and buggy reservations for the following morning.

Guided Coastal Walk — Ria Formosa Natural Park
Private guided walk along the Ria Formosa lagoon trail adjacent to the resort. 75-minute easy walk through pine and dune landscape with views across the protected coastal lagoon system. Local naturalist guide explains the birdlife, tidal ecosystem, and the flamingo colonies visible in winter months. A gentle way to acclimatise before competition begins.

Private fleet heads west along the coast to the dramatically wild western Algarve, approaching the Sagres and Vila do Bispo area. 1h15 drive. The landscape changes dramatically — Atlantic-facing clifftops, oceanic winds, and a links-style course carved from the headland above the sea.

Round 2 Tee-Off — Western Algarve Links Course
Round 2 on a clifftop links course above the Atlantic in the western Algarve. The course is exposed to ocean winds, making club selection and course management critical. Dramatic scenery — fairways along cliff edges with views to Cape St Vincent. Stableford scoring continues. Pre-booked buggies. This is the most visually spectacular round of the week.

Following the round, fleet heads to Sagres harbour village. Lunch at a seafood restaurant directly on the harbour wall. Catch of the day, grilled sardines, barnacles (percebes), and clam rice. The setting — fishing boats, Atlantic swell, and the Sagres fortress visible across the bay — is unlike anywhere else in Portugal.

Private guided visit to Cabo de São Vicente, the dramatic southwesternmost point of continental Europe. The 60-metre cliffs above the Atlantic, the working lighthouse, and the historical significance as the departure point of the Age of Discoveries. 45-minute guided visit with local historian. Iconic photography opportunity.

Private guided visit to the Fortaleza de Sagres, the historic fort where Prince Henry the Navigator established his famous school of navigation in the 15th century. Private fleet heads north into the Algarve serra, towards a premium parkland course in the hills above the coast. 40-minute drive through eucalyptus, cork oak, and carob groves. The course plays through the natural vegetation of the Algarve interior — a completely different character from the previous two coastal rounds.

Third competitive round. Parkland layout through mature cork oak and pine, with elevation changes and technical approach shots. More sheltered from wind than previous rounds. Stableford scoring. On-course photography service provided by InBound partner photographer to capture the final round.

Client host delivers closing remarks. Group photograph taken.
